Components of a Car PC

On our first blog post, we define what a Car PC is and an introduction of what to expect on the future posts on this blog

The whole life of this blog will be from start to finish of transforming my 2005 Mazda 3 sedan to a carputer or car PC equipment automobile.

This whole project will start, of course in the purchasing and collecting bits and parts and all components that will make up the computer to be installed in the car (and assuming that you already have a car.

Here are the main components of our car PC:

• Machine – Machine is what most hobbyist and enthusiast say it but to me, it’s just plain ole CPU part of the computer. It’s the motherboard, processor, memory and data storage used plus the output interface of the CPU.
• Screen – yes, it’s the monitor.
• Input Devices – mouse, keyboard, pen
• Power supplies – Battery, inverters etc.
• Audio Equipments
