Before we dive into the depths of making a carputer or a computer car or simply car PC, let us first define what a Car PC is.

What is a Car PC?

A Car PC, litterally is a fully functional computer modified to fit into a car. Yes, it is simply a computer installed in a car. So, to properly define what a car pc is, you must know what a computer is then imagine that piece of hardware inside a car.

Wikipedia’s entry about a Car PC says:

A Carputer, AutoPC or ‘CarPC’, is a general purpose computing platform installed in a vehicle.

Which basically is what we said above.

That’s all that we are going to post tonight. There are many information to come as we move along this amazing project of mine. Yes, this blog is sort of like a documentation as I installed a Car PC in my 2005 Mazda 3 (that blogging bought).
