Imagine for a second , you’re flying along a road out on your yearly bike trip.

As it looms closer you begin to query what to do.  Should you pull over and wait out the storm?  Or ride on thru to your next stop, and stick it our.  You pick a choice to for the second, and finish up spending the remainder of your trip doleful, as you have gotten a cold mingled with a sinus infection.  If only you had packed your bike rain gear.  The miracles of modern textiles might have saved you the difficulty and bother of a cold.  Quality waterproof motorbike pants and rain suits are made of a classy water-resistant technology, six hundred Denier nylon.  They will have one or two pockets with full enclosed flaps and Velcro, and even an inner pocket to keep your wallet nice and dry.

With many styles and colors to choose between, you will be able to find one that matches your tastes, and still have a comfy fit.  You can get waterproof motorbike pants or rain suits in either an one piece style or 2 piece style.  The legs should have Velcro and zips to deal with the wearing of boots, and the sleeves should have Velcro and zips as well to help help the wearing of a leather jacket.  There should also be a sturdy heatproof inner leg lining to offer protection to the rain suit from becoming liquidized due to high engine and exhaust temperatures.  Finding a motorbike rain suit which has reflective material is also important.

This helps to ensure that other drivers see you in stormy weather.  When riding in the rain don’t forget to take it slower than standard.

Try and keep the turns as low as practical as you only have two wheels touching the ground, and a condition called hydroplaning can happen much less complex than in a passenger vehicle.  Hydroplaning happens when the water underneath a tire causes the tire to really float on the water, causing the tire to loose traction and stability.  Be certain to observe the amount of rain on the road, as even 2 inches of rain could cause hydroplaning.  Eventually when you get to your destination, be sure to treat your leather products with a good polish and leather preserver like, Skidmore’s Biker Motorbike Edition Leather Cream that helps preserve and resuscitate a soft sturdy quality to the leather.  The perfect time to do that truly is after each stormy ride, or once or even more a month.  Whatever the weather that you’re riding in, always be certain to stay safe, and have an excellent time.  The art of motorbike riding can be lethal, but you can help to keep it safe if you follow the rules of the road.  Be certain to help out your fellow riders, and always wear protection for your head.
